This episode is “Writing the Human Experience,” where host Karson Corbitt outlines the qualities of teaching writing for the humanities. Writing Intensive Program Teaching Assistant Tara Kraft is featured as a guest, using her experience supporting different Art History courses to explain some of the struggles faced by her students learning to write for the humanities, as well as the skills they’ve gained during the class.

Tara Kraft is a second-year MA candidate studying modern art with a focus in Surrealism. Her thesis research centers on Leonora Carrington’s word-image relations as they connect with memory, migration, and myth. Tara enjoys writing and researching, and helping others discover the exciting rewards of both.
