Abigail Fisette sits down with Demosthenian president for Spring 2025, Lindsey Falvo and chats about how club activity benefits written work, the boundaries of president and peer, and maintaining a club with rich history. She then sits down with the founder of Junior Jewels—a student club surrounding Swiftie activities—and they talk about the steps in which to found a club, maintaining a club with many members, and Taylor Swift.

Lindsey Falvo is a Junior at the University of Georgia. She is majoring in advertising in the Grady college, and is the current president of the Demosthenian Literary Society, an extemporaneous debate style club that meets every Thursday at Demosthenian Hall. It is the oldest student run organization on campus. She has helped with membership campaigns that have doubled their membership over the past year, and will soon step down as reigning President.
